Professor Armen Kamalyan has taught a series of lectures to SFedU students

From October 26 to November 23 Professor of the Institute of Mathematics of National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia Armen Kamalyan taught a series of 5 online lectures "Fredholm operators" for students and postgraduates of mathematical specialties. The event was organized by the Regional Mathematical Center of the Southern Federal University.

Professor Kamalyan is currently working as a senior researcher at the Institute of Mathematics of National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. He is the author of 50 research articles, supervisor of 7 PhD students.

In this cycle of lectures, Professor Kamalyan touched on the following sections: operators with closed-form; normal solvability in the sense of Hausdorff; block triangular operators; the perturbation of Fredholm operators; perturbation theorems; Calkin algebras; semistability of defective numbers.

The cycle of lectures was organized within the framework of the Program of development of the Regional Mathematical Center of Southern Federal University for 2022 (Agreement of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation № 075-02-2022-893).
