OTHA-2022 is an ICM Satellite


OTHA-2022 is an ICM Satellite The Organizing Committee of the International Congress of Mathematicians 2022 in St. Petersburg assigned the status of the ICM 2022 Satellite conference to the conference "Modern Methods and Problems of Operator Theory and Harmonic Analysis and Applications -2022" (OTHA-2022, 25 - 28 of April 2022, http://otha.sfedu.ru/conf2022). The conference OTHA-2022 is dedicated to the 80 anniversary of Professor Nikolai K. Karapetiants (1942-2005). Registration for OTHA-2022 is open.

The funds received along with such a status from the ICM2022 will be used to promote participation of speakers without independent sources of funding, young mathematicians and women mathematicians in OTHA-2022.

International Congress of Mathematicians is the most significant meeting in pure and applied mathematics, and one of the oldest scientific congresses. The first ICM took place in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1897. ICMs are organized every 4 years by the International Mathematical Union in partnership with organizers from the host country.
